While it is said today that Turkey has a logistics market of 10 billion U.S. Dollars, the experts draw attention towards the fact that the actual potential of Turkey for this respect is 3 times more and Mersin is expected to be the Logistics Base of Turkey in the upcoming 5 years.
Mersin as a city located on the south coast of Turkey;, having all kind of transportation networks including highways, airways, seaways and railways; is in the center of a wide area surrounding from Russia to North Africa, from Europe to the Middle East and Central Asia Turkic Republics.
Mersin also has an advantage as a free trade zone. The import and export to and from the Middle East countries, Central Asia Turkic Republics, USA and EU countries are made over through the marina and the free trade zone. In addition to those advantages, Turkish market becomes more attractive to foreign investors with the scope of economic activities in the region with the contribution of transportation activities.
Having a highly developed infrastructure with its port, highways, railways, airways, wide-band connection available in its information and communication technologies, its free zone, organized industry zone, technology development zone, business centers and etc Mersin will be the host city for 2nd MERSIN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT FAIR on 15-18 October 2009 at the Yenişehir Municipality Fairground. The fair will be held on a covered area of 9000 m² and an open area of 5000 m² by Forza Fairs & Organization Services Co. Inc. in cooperation with Forum Fairs & Promotions Co. Inc. and Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
After 1st Mersin Logistics and Transportation Fair
1st Mersin Logistics and Transportation Fair was organized between 14-17 October 2008 on a gross area of 9.535 m² including 1.166 m² foreign participants' area, by Forza Fairs & Organization Services Co. Inc. and got 158 companies together with their buyers.
Fair was visited by 200 professional visitors from 14 countries such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Cyprus, Kuwait, Greece, Philippines, Germany, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Libya and Kazakhstan.
Mersin Logistics and Transportation Fair, which was held in Mersin for the first time this year was visited by 7,000 visitors.

A standart stand includes carpet, front plate, lighting, 1 table, 2 chairs and internet connection.
With signing of the contract should be paid %25 of the participation fee, remaining balance should be paid on 1 October 2009.

A fair catalogue shall be prepared for the official delegation, exhibitors, visitors. The fair catalogue shall be printed in the dimensions of 14x21cm. The participants may give advertisements to catalogue.
