Customs formalities

For the driver, the following documents are required:

• Valid passport,
• Visa for stays of up to 90 days ( issued by Romanian embassies and consulates overseas) - no visa required for European citizens on short visit or in transit;
• International driving licence.
• AETR record sheets ( tachograph discs)

For the vehicle, the following documents are required:

• Vehicle registration certificate from the country of origin;
• Green international insurance card.
• Technical inspection certificate
• INTERBUS waybill

For the passengers, the following documents are required:

• Valid passport,
• Visa for stays of up to 90 days ( issued by Romanian embassies and consulates overseas) - no visa required for European citizens on short visit or in transit;
• An outgoing or return ticket, as well as proof of sufficient money to cover the visit, except in the case of prepaid tourist arrangements
• Passengers and luggage insurance for the national and international public transport of passengers, and also for the international transport on own account.
