Authorisation system

Occasional transport of “closed-door” services through Romania are not subject to authorisation.

 

Unless otherwise provided for by bilateral agreement, coaches which are used principally for the transport of goods require authorisation. Those which arrive at the border without a valid authorisation may obtain it at a price of US$620.30.

 

By law no. 439 /27 June 2002 – published in M.O. no. 515/ 17 July 2002, Romania has ratified the Interbus Agreement which was signed in Brussels on the 2nd of October, 2000.
