Local road taxes - Cluj Napoca city

The Local Council Decision no.506 dated 3 December 2009 forbids the acces of vehicles with more than 7.5 t MPW on the streets of the Cluj Napoca city, except with a special permit of free acces including the following streets:

• a. Nod N, Bucium str., Primăverii str., Izlazului str., Frunzişului str., Observatorului str., Calea Turzii section between Observatorului str. and Buna Ziua str.;
• b. Calea Turzii, section between Bună Ziua str. and DJ 107R, Bună Ziua str., Fagului str., C. Brâncuşi str., N. Titulescu avenue, Slănic str., T. Mihali str., Aurel Vlaicu str., Traian Vuia str.;
• c. Traian Vuia str., Branului str., Plevnei str., Câmpina str.,Fabricii str.

Inobservance of the provisions is sanctioned with a fine between:

• 500 and 700 RON for vehicles with MPW between 7,51 t and 15,99 t;
• 700 and 900 RON for vehicles with MPW between 16 and 21,99 t;
• 900 and 1100 RON for vehicles with MPW between 22t and 29,99t;
• 1200 and 1500 RON for vehicles with MPW between 30t and 39,99;
• 1500 and 2000 RON for vehicles with MPW over 40t.

Diverted routes Câmpia Turzii - Gilău section from the motorway Transilvania, as well as the ring belt Vâlcele - Apahida, for the N-E zone of Cluj-Napoca city Muncii Avenue - Apahida.
